It's Back To School Season!

With just over a week left of our homes echoing with the summer calls of "I'm bored", our minds turn toward preparations for the school year. September still feels like a new 'year' to me, even though I haven't started school in the fall for quite some time! I often feel energized as the harvest season approaches and I find myself looking forward to new routines and challenges; particularly after the free-flowing days of summer!

While you are enjoying the last few lazy days of our summer in the sunshine, below is some information on what is to come in the month of September. There is a brief update on our Casino Fundraiser from June, links to order your Davison Orchard Apples and/or a copy 2022-2023 Yearbook if you missed out in June, details on how to be involved within the school this year, upcoming PA/Council Meeting dates and some links to the School website for school supplies and first-day details.

New this year is an Open House Afternoon on the first two days of school - Thursday Aug 31st & Friday Sept 1st starting at 2:45pm. Come for a tour of the school, visit your student's classroom, meet teachers and connect with the school community.

Volunteer Opportunities

Looking to be a part of the Husky community?! Below is a list of a few of the in-person, in-school volunteer roles for the 2023 - 2024 School Year. If you are unable to contribute your time in person, there are opportunities to donate to our Teacher Meals which occur approximately 4 times a year.
