We are only as Strong as our Volunteers

Get Involved

We are always looking for Parent Volunteers to help us out on a regular basis or for special events!

Everyone is welcome.

Please note: To volunteer at Heritage Heights School, you must have a Police Check completed and submitted to the office within the past two years.

Year Round Roles

Parent Grade Reps:

Attend monthly meetings if you can; provide updates on what's going on in your grade and be a point of contact between parents and Council; help share information and gather feedback.

Learning Commons

Help our Learning Commons Facilitator, Nancy Bowlby, with various librarian

duties.

Contribute to Teacher Appreciation Meals

Our committee comes up with unique, tasty menus each time we host a meal for our teachers, but we couldn't feed them without your contributions of food or cash donations.

Hot Lunch Help

Assist in the kitchen and in classrooms with the distribution of hot lunches.

Hot lunch is distributed twice per week:  Monday or in the case of days off, Tuesday and Friday or in the case of days off, Thursday.

Teacher Appreciation Committee

Help in planning and organizing our Teacher Appreciation Dinners

Volunteer for Special Events

Annual events include Science Night and Movie Night. Both of these are events that welcome in the school community as family focused events to build the community within our school walls. Help organize the event or be part of the team to bring it to life!

Your time, no matter how much or how little is valuable to us!
