While the weather has been slow to reflect the spring feel I have had in my heart since the middle of March, I am glad to see the double-digit temps that are forecasted this week!
Warm, sunny days make me want to be outside to get things ready to GROW! Ongoing now until Friday, April 28th is our annual Growing Smiles Spring Fundraiser with the usual list of colourful outdoor planters, beautiful hanging baskets, delicious strawberries, petunias, geraniums, herbs, veggies, marigolds, geraniums and succulents!

Council Meetings:
All are welcome to join and hear what is going on at the school, we are always looking for more bodies to lend their voice to Council. This is our avenue for providing feedback to the School and Foothills School Division.
Blanket Exercise:
Join us as we further Truth & Reconciliation by opening our minds and hearts to gain an understanding and appreciation for our collective history as we participate in a Blanket Exercise Workshop led by Charity Tegler - Indigenous Learning Facilitator with FSD.

Casino:
Every 3 years, our Heritage Heights Parent Association manages a 2-day casino fundraiser. Our next casino is on June 16 &17, 2023, at Ace Casino Blackfoot in Calgary. This is by far our most lucrative fundraiser and is a fun and easy volunteer experience.
We have 36 volunteer shifts to fill. Parents, grandparents, neighbours and friends are all welcome to volunteer. Shift durations are as follows:
JUNE 16, 2023 (Friday) & JUNE 17, 2023 (Saturday)
1:00am - 7:30pm - 6 Volunteers
7:00pm - 3:30am - 6 Volunteers
11:00pm - 3:30am - 6 Volunteers
