ASCA (Alberta School Council Assoc.) deadline for Recognition Awards is Feb 1st. FSD Trustees are nominating FSD COSC for the meeting organized with Honorable RJ Sigurdson in October in the category of Division School Council Engagement!

Full Time Kindergarten - currently seeking interest for 2024-2025 school year.
Beginning to plan Wellness Symposium with Parent Assoc. - Conference format with Keynote speaker and specialists on a variety of wellness topics.
Fresh Fruit Program: Safeway at D'Arcy Crossing has been generous enough to support Heritage Heights School by providing a 15% discount on apples, bananas and oranges to fill the bowl by the office. This is on offer to all students through out the day!
Parent Assoc. Report - Melissa Christensen
Currently planning for playground upgrades - defining scope and assessing feasibility of adding swings, replacing existing pour-in-place surface and addition of small playground features, including gaga ball court. In the process of gathering sufficient information over the next few weeks to begin submitting grant applications to secure funding.

Supervised Lunch Dates:
Once a month, parent volunteers supervise students in the classroom while students eat lunch. This gives our much loved teachers an opportunity to eat their meal in the staff room together.
